Nov 11, 08 -- Outline Pane in PowerPoint 2007

The new interface in Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 has changed quite a bit -- however the Slides/Outline pane looks and works in the same way as it did in the earlier versions -- at least on the surface. There are small changes though -- for starters, there is no equivalent of the Outlining toolbar in PowerPoint 2007 -- this means most of the outline tasks now have to be accessed through right-click options -- and I'll show you how you can do that.

Adobe Captivate's Edit View

In an earlier post last week, I discussed Adobe Captivate's views and compared them to PowerPoint's deafult views. I also explained about the Storyboard View. In this post, I'll look at Captivate's Edit view, which in many ways is similar to PowerPoint's Normal view. If you are not already in Edit view within Captivate, choose the View drop-down in the toolbar, and select Edit View.
