Adding Transitions in Adobe Acrobat

In the previous tutorial of this PowerPoint to Secure PDF series, I showed you how to set PDF to play in full screen mode. If your PDF is playing full screen, and you want it to look like a presentation, it's a great idea to add slide transitions so that it mimics a PowerPoint presentation.
Follow these steps to add transitions in Adobe Acrobat Pro:
- Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Pro. From the Edit menu, choose Preferences as shown in Figure 1.

- This opens the Preferences dialog box, as shown in Figure 2. Select the Full Screen option under Categories on the left.

Here you can set the preferences for displaying your slideshow in fullscreen mode, you can set slideshow to loop after the last page and set the advance to a preset time (in seconds) -- this allows you to set how long each slide pauses before transitioning to the next page (slide).
- Under Full Screen Transition options, you can choose any of the available transitions. Figure 3 shows list of default transitions. Click OK to apply.

- Save the PDF.
